With over 50 alumni, current students, and friends of Marietta College present, the kickoff of the Columbus and Central Ohio Regional Association was a success! Camelot Cellars in the Olde Town East section of Columbus was packed with Pioneers on August 18! Those gathered shared light appetizers, as well as wine and dessert pairings.
With over 72 alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of Marietta College present, the kickoff to the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio Regional Association was a hit! Hosted in The Hermit Club at the Hofbrauhaus in Cleveland, the August 17 event brought The Long Blue Line together from around the region. The turnout was possibly the largest ever for a Regional Association kickoff event!
Dr. Bill Ruud, 19th President of Marietta College, along with Angela Anderson, Vice President of Advancement, and Larry Hiser, Athletics Director, provided exciting updates from campus.
More than 50 alumni, family and Marietta College officials celebrated the official launch of the Western Pennsylvania Regional Association on Wednesday before heading to PNC Park watch the Pirates trounce the Mariners 10-1.
On Sunday, July 10, alumni, students, family, and friends of the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Association took a break from the heat and enjoy an indoor picnic at the Parkersburg Country Club, thanks to the generosity of Ann Bailey, ’82. Over 110 alumni and friends enjoyed grilled chicken and ribs, as well as hot dogs, hamburgers, and corn on the cob.
