Students Learn tips on "Finding a Place to Live" During Last CashCourse Lunch Session of the Semester

"Finding a Place to Live" was the topic of Thursday's CashCourse Lunch Session, presented by Marietta College Dean of Students, Bruce Peterson. Bruce talked to students about navigating the rental market, what to look for when visiting potential apartments, and how to budget for those unexpected costs once you're out on your own.

 

Texas Alumni and Friends Watch the Houston Rockets Take on the Cleveland Cavaliers

Marietta College alumni and friends gathered in Houston, Texas on Sunday March 1st to watch James Harden and the Houston Rockets face off against Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In what ended up being a very heated game the Rockets defeated the Cavaliers, 105-103 in overtime. Following the game, the group moved onto the MKT Bar just blocks away for a special Happy Hour.

All Pioneer Skype with Lauren Yanko

The Student Alumni Association and the Young Pioneer Network will be presenting an All-Campus Pioneer Skype on Thursday, November 6th, 2014 from 12:15p.m.-1:00p.m. in the Trustee Conference Room, located in the DBRC.

Lauren Yanko, a 2011 graduate of Marietta College, will be joining in via Skype and will be sharing insight on her transition after college and the decisions she made in pursuit of her career as a designer in the technology realm.

MCAA Board of Directors

Your Marietta College Alumni Association Board took the opportunity of Homecoming Weekend to return to campus for its fall meeting. Among the topics discussed were support of the new regional associations, how to promote greater interaction between alumni and students, and possibilities for partnering with the Career Center for greater availability of professional options and networking.
